JIm and Maryann built me an awesome sled for the 2025 Iditarod. It performed magnificently and held up super well. I absolutely loved the sled bag it really helped keeping my sled organized. I also loved the brake I could really slow a large team down steep hills and on glare ice

I highly recommend anyone competing in mid to long distance races like Iditarod consider acquiring a sled from Prairie Bilt sleds. Jim and Mary Ann make an incredible team. The attention to detail on the sled and the sled bag is second to none. I drove the Trail Glider 3 from Anchorage to Nome in the 2026 Iditarod and I was extremely pleased with the performance of the sled. The sled handled great and was very light weight. We traveled over glaciation , ice, deep snow, side hills , wind , rough moguls and bare ground. The sled held up beautifully. Lots of great features on the sled and the bag. I’ve never driven a sled that was as comfortable and as easy to steer, and pack as the Trail Glider. Not to mention I really enjoyed working with Jim a Mary Ann they were very considerate and helpful in customizing my order. I could tell they really cared about me and the performance of their sled. I would definitely consider purchasing other sleds and equipment from them in the future.
